Are you an enthusiastic, motivated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in students’ lives? We are looking to appoint a dedicated and committed individual to join our welcoming and experienced Learning Support team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in reaching their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
Working closely with Class Teachers, you will play a key role in supporting pupil progress and attainment. The role includes a combination of in‑class support and targeted one‑to‑one interventions for students with a wide range of learning, medical, and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Provide one‑to‑one and small group support to students
- Assist with targeted intervention programmes to raise attainment
- Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
- Support students with diverse learning, social and emotional needs
- Contribute to the overall wellbeing and development of pupils
- Experience supporting students to achieve positive learning outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strength in literacy and/or numeracy support
- Experience delivering targeted interventions
- Knowledge of speech and language development or social skills support
