Personalised Learning Assistant (Maths and Science)

Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking to appoint a Personalised Learning Assistant with a background in Mathematics or Science to join our dedicated department. The successful candidate will support high‑ability secondary students with additional needs, including ADHD, Autism, dyslexia, and dyscalculia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted subject tutoring and study skills in Maths and Science.
- Help students build independent learning and executive functioning skills, including organisation, planning, and self‑regulation.
- Monitor student progress and participate in the wider department under the guidance of the Head of Personalised Learning.
- Maintain high standards for safeguarding and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Background in Mathematics or Science.
- Experience working with high‑ability secondary students or similar educational settings is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
