The role will include:

  • Laboratory Preparation: Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for science lessons, ensuring all experiments run smoothly and safely.
  • Supporting Lessons: Assisting teachers during practical lessons, providing technical support and guidance to students.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment, ensuring all items are in good working condition and properly stored.
  • Safety Management: Implementing and upholding Health and Safety standards in the laboratory, conducting regular safety checks and risk assessments.
  • Resource Management: Managing inventory of materials and equipment, ordering supplies as needed to ensure the labs are well-stocked.
