Sir William Perkins's School invites applications for the position of Head of Psychology. We are seeking an inspiring leader and exceptional classroom practitioner to drive high-quality teaching and learning across the department. Reporting to the Deputy Head Academic, the successful candidate will be responsible for the department's vision, overseeing curriculum development and the monitoring of student progress to ensure continued academic excellence in Psychology.
The post holder will promote genuine interest and enjoyment of the subject from Year 7 through to A Level, creating an environment where students are challenged and supported. Beyond the classroom, the selected candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work effectively across departments, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the exceptional educational provision already on offer.

About us: Sir William Perkins's School is a high-performing, academically selective, independent school for approximately 600 students aged 11 - 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It is located on an attractive 12-acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two-minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.
