Due to the continued expansion of the Academy and its learning support offer, we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in the Specialised Learning Centre (SLC). The role of the SLC is to ensure that all students achieve their potential and any barriers to learning are identified and supported.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with the SLC team to enhance the education of our students, provide support to students in the classroom both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, and respond flexibly to the changing needs of our students. Working across all age groups and subject areas with confidence to deal with challenging behaviours is essential. First Aid support or willingness to undertake training is desirable. Prior experience with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
