As part of this transformative project, we are seeking a Project Systems & Information Lead to ensure the integrity, accessibility, and smooth operation of all project information and digital systems across this fast‑moving site.

The Project Systems & Information Lead role
Reporting to the Shared Services Lead, you’ll be the central point of expertise for project information management, document control leadership, and digital system optimisation on site. You’ll own the configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of the Project Common Data Environment (CDE) and other project‑critical systems, ensuring that every team has the right information at the right time.
In this role, you will:
- Line‑manage, mentor, and develop Document Controller(s).
- Ensure compliant, consistent document control aligned with BS EN ISO 19650.
- Configure, administer, and optimise the Project CDE and Field Management systems.
- Maintain workflows, permissions, and information security protocols.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for all system‑related queries.
- Deliver training to project teams and external partners on digital tools and processes.
- Promote digital adoption and continuous improvement across the project.
- Oversee audits, quality checks, and compliance reporting.
- Ensure robust data governance, archiving, and information integrity.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support information flow.
- Provide first‑line technical support on systems‑related hardware/software issues.
- Support the commissioning and decommissioning of systems for new/existing project phases.
- Identify opportunities to enhance systems, workflows, and digital processes.
Your profile
- Extensive experience in information management, document control or project systems within construction, engineering, or related sectors.
- Proven hands‑on experience configuring and administering CDE platforms (e.g., Viewpoint for projects).
- Strong leadership and line‑management capability.
- Good knowledge of ISO 19650 and the Building Safety Act (Golden Thread).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and digital construction tools (e.g., Field View).
- Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in information management, IT or digital construction (desirable).
