As Lead Senior Design Manager, you will:
- Drive design strategy for major hospital projects.
- Act as the strategic lead, ensuring technically compliant, cost-efficient solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Influence early-stage design decisions and submissions to maximise value and win work.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, compliant solutions.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, planning permissions, Building Regulations, CDM regulations, and contract-specific standards.
- Identify opportunities for design improvement and manage risks effectively.
Your Profile: We’re looking for a driven leader who thrives on complexity and client engagement:
- Chartered professional (CIOB, RICS, ICE, RIBA).
- Extensive experience in design management for large-scale projects (£300m+), ideally healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations.
- Expertise in P23, NEC3 contracts, and healthcare sector delivery.
- Proven ability to lead strategically, influence decisions, and build strong client relationships.
