SRM are preparing for the commencement of a major programme of construction works in Port Talbot, South Wales. The works to be undertaken will involve heavy construction/ civil engineering works across a variety of industrial work fronts over the next 3 to 4 years.
If you are a Civil Engineer with experience working on large multi-million-pound multi-disciplinary projects , we have a great opportunity for you to join our Team in Port Talbot to work on an interesting, complex and technically challenging project. The project value will be in excess of Β£200m and will be undertaken under an NEC form of contract.

The Graduate Planner role
- Be part of a planning team, reporting to the project based Planning Manager.
- Assist with development and validation of site programmes.
- Integration and updating of programmes within SRM master programmes.
- Establish and collate progress records, Performance Indicators, dashboards etc.
Your profile
- A construction related diploma or degree qualification
- Good understanding of building sequencing
- Working knowledge of 3D models and preferably Synchro
- Competent in use of Powerproject
- Good understanding of planning, programming and progress reporting
- Good communication skills β verbal and written
- Experience of working with an main contractor
