We are seeking an Administration Apprentice to work within the Learning & Development team. The role will be working closely with the Learning & Development Coordinator and People Development Business Partner to support the delivery and implementation of agreed training needs, whilst completing a Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship.
We are actively seeking candidates with administrative experience who are keen to move into a Learning & Development environment. This will include the administration of documentation and training records, utilising our Learning Management System (Dayforce Learning).
Key Results Areas
- Updating and maintaining training information on Learning Management System (Dayforce Learning)
- Booking of our standard individual training needs and processing of Joining Instructions
- Processing of invoices
- Producing delegate lists for all internal courses
- Supporting venue set up for internal courses
- Ensuring record keeping and posting of training results and certifications
- Issuing course evaluation surveys
- Ensuring new starter certifications and CSCS records are received and supporting leavers to collate theirs
- Supporting the administration of company wide development programmes as required
- Handling day to day enquiries and resolving queries from and providing advice to employees and line managers
Key Performance Indicators
- Maintenance of records in the LMS
- Establish deep working relationships with internal SMEs
- Delivery of specific objectives, to be agreed with the People Development Business Partner
- The establishment of open, honest relationships and trust with key stakeholders required to enable continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Some previous administrative experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly organised and proactive
- Excellent Excel and Outlook skills
- GCSE English & Maths (4-9 / A-C)

- Knowledge or some experience of Learning & Development Environment
