Are you passionate about working with young children and making a real difference in their early development? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner Apprentice to join our outstanding Day Nursery and Preschool! Our setting offers a supportive, nurturing environment where both children and staff can thrive.
Children love adventures. They love new challenges, trying new things, making new friends, learning new skills, and receiving positive feedback from all our staff. We are continually developing our activities to keep your child engaged, physically and mentally. However, children also love quiet time. Reading a new book or having it read to them while they look at the pictures in a cosy corner. Children love dressing up and being a prince or a princess. Building castles and having a wonderful adventure all their own. We believe in stimulating a child’s interests by introducing new topics on a weekly basis, and to do this, we have creative practitioners, fantastic facilities packed full of toys and equipment, and plenty of space to play, inside and out – to ensure every day is a fun-filled adventure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Helping to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs and interests
- Supporting your colleagues across the nursery to provide a caring and stimulating environment
- Observing and assessing children’s development and contributing to their learning journeys
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring setting both indoors and outdoors
- Promoting British Values through play and everyday interactions
- Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in line with our safeguarding policies
- Following our nursery policies as well as relevant external guidelines and frameworks
- Supporting positive behaviour and helping children to understand and express their emotions
