The main purpose of the role will be to supervise examinations and ensure that the guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers are followed during an examination session. Being able to communicate and work well in a team is essential.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES*** To be responsible for the security and safety of examination papers and materials outside the exams office.* To ensure that the regulations for the conduct of examinations are adhered to in the exam room.* To assist the admittance of candidates into the exam room.* To maintain quiet in the examination room and immediate vicinity.* To distribute and collect examination papers and materials in the exam room.* To handle malpractice incidents in the exam room, and to report malpractice incidents and writing of subsequent reports where necessary.* To escort candidates to allocated areas in emergency situations while ensuring that candidates do not communicate with each other.* To supervise scribes/readers to ensure that unauthorised communication does not take place with the student during the exam.* To be aware that all staff are responsible for the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.This is a casual post, but does require **regular commitment throughout the year**.
