Sir Nelthorpe School is seeking to appoint a committed and proactive Casual Cleaner to join our dedicated premises team. This is an ideal opportunity for an organised individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily cleaning duties across specified areas of the school, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Safe operation of domestic and industrial cleaning equipment and materials.
- Deep cleaning duties, floor care, and emptying waste bins to designated disposal points.
- De-scaling sanitary areas and upholding high hygiene standards throughout the school site. Reporting faults, structural damage, or stock requirements to the site management team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and takes pride in their work.
- Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, and manual handling procedures (or a willingness to learn).
- Is flexible, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Possesses good communication skills and a friendly approach.
