Established in 1632, Sir John Leman High School in Beccles is steeped in history and has produced many generations of well-educated young people. The school has a strong emphasis on values and a relentless focus on improving learning, which is driving up performance in all aspects of our school. We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Reading Mentor to join our 11-18 mixed comprehensive high school community, where you will work alongside experienced educators who value teamwork, respect and open communication.
It is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to communicate effectively at all levels and is capable of working independently. The successful candidate should be literate in written and spoken English language. Successful applicants will be a part of a nurturing and collaborative educational setting where creativity and learning thrive. The hours of work in this post are 28.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term-time only).
