Key Responsibilities:
- The Pastoral Leader will take a proactive role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance of our students, ensuring they thrive personally and academically.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Has experience working with young people and motivating them to achieve their best.
- Has knowledge of Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP) and experience of leading SEMH interventions.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can stay calm under pressure and manage complex situations, including behaviour incidents, with empathy and professionalism.
- Has a genuine commitment to supporting students’ personal development, wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Is confident working with staff, families and external agencies to support students.
- Can use data or is willing to develop skills to track and improve behaviour and attendance.
- Works well as part of a team and can also use their initiative to make a positive impact.
