Salary: NJC 11-14 £24,718 – £25,946 (Actual) £28,142 – £29,540 (FTE) + well‑being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 37 per week, 40 weeks per year (term time + inset days)

Responsibilities
- Work side by side with teachers to help every student access learning, develop independence and grow in confidence.
- Deliver small‑group or one‑to‑one support, promote positive behaviours, and help create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENDCO, pastoral staff and families to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed.
- Plan and deliver small‑group or one‑to‑one interventions within clear guidelines.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and promote positive choices.
- Be reflective, open to feedback and committed to ongoing learning and development.
- Be organised, reliable and professional in all aspects of work.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with young people.
- Communicate clearly and sensitively with students and adults.
- Support students with SEND and diverse learning needs; adapt support to help students access the curriculum and develop independence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of working with young people.
- Level 2 functional skills Maths and English or GCSE grade C/4 and above.
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with young people.
- Trained in or willing to complete Teaching Assistant training (Level 3).
