Lift Greenwood is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of reading, writing and literature. The successful candidate will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, analytical and spoken communication skills. At Key Stage 3, students develop strong foundations in reading, writing and literary analysis through the study of a broad range of prose, drama and poetry. At Key Stage 4, students build on these skills through GCSE English Language and Literature, exploring a diverse range of texts while developing analytical writing, comparative skills and exam confidence.

You will also work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff, as well as parents and carers, to support students’ personal development, respond to individual needs, and promote a culture of inclusion, ambition and high expectations.
