Leon Leisure, part of Lift Schools, is looking for a dedicated and proactive Duty Manager to join our team and help provide outstanding leisure facilities and experiences for our community.

About the Role

As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our leisure centre, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high-quality experience for all users. You will lead by example, support staff development, and contribute to the continuous improvement of services and programmes at Leon Leisure. This is more than a leisure job - it’s an opportunity to support community wellbeing while contributing to Lift Schools' mission of providing an excellent education for every child, in every classroom, every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support leisure centre staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and leisure industry standards.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and rota planning.
  • Promote and support a diverse programme of sports and leisure activities.
  • Act as a keyholder, providing building security and emergency call-out support.
  • Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally and proactively.
