Overview: Lift Broadlands are delighted to have a number of Teaching Assistant vacancies due to internal promotions. We offer comprehensive career and wellbeing support, including fully funded training to earn Level 3 or Level 5 qualifications.

Your new school: Lift Broadlands is a small secondary school in Keynsham, fostering a nurturing environment for students aged 11‑16. It is a mixed, fully inclusive comprehensive school with strong OFSTED ‘Good’ status and excellent transport links to Bristol and surrounding areas. We aim to raise student aspirations, broaden horizons and promote a life‑long love of learning.

Your new role: The school is committed to ensuring all children achieve their very best academically and experience wide‑ranging opportunities such as camping trips, seaside visits, curriculum days and outdoor learning. As a Teaching Assistant you will work in partnership with teachers to support students in accessing the curriculum, participating in learning and experiencing a sense of achievement while promoting independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion.

What you’ll need to succeed: You will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or be willing to work towards this qualification. You should understand a range of pupil learning needs, exhibit patience, calmness and empathy, and be able to engage and enthuse students to learn.
