Your new school
Lift Broadlands is a small secondary school in Keynsham, fostering a nurturing environment for students aged 11‑16 and led by Principal Laura Stone. The school is fully inclusive and has an OFSTED “Good” rating. It is located near Bath and North East Somerset with excellent transport links to Bristol.
Your new role
The Exams Officer will manage, coordinate and administer the public exams process, liaise with examination boards and collaborate with colleagues on timetabling and special arrangements. The role includes managing public examination results, arranging internal examinations, assisting staff in preparation, creating seating plans, coordinating venues and invigilation.
What you’ll need to succeed
- You should be organised and able to lead a team.
- Previous examination experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential; transferable skills are acceptable.
- Experience in timetabling and an understanding of special examination requirements for students with SEND are desirable.
- You must plan and prioritise your workload, manage conflicting demands, and coordinate stakeholders in a high‑pressure environment.
