Sip Social is a cocktail events company based in London, founded by mixologist Richard Maxted. Known for its bespoke cocktail menus delivered by precise career bartenders, the company aims to make the art of cocktails accessible and enjoyable for luxury events. In addition to hosting events, Sip Social offers bespoke labelled canned cocktails for corporate gifting, wedding favours, and brand activations. Our mission is to bring the same level of appreciation for cocktails as one has for food and wine in mainstream events.
Role Description
This is a part-time, 24 hour a week, hybrid role for a Business Development & Sales Manager located in the London Area, United Kingdom, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The role involves initiating business development initiatives to drive revenue growth and seeking out partnership opportunities. You will identify potential clients, lead sales efforts, maintain client relationships, and oversee sales strategies. Additional responsibilities include creating quotations, proposals, closing deals, reporting KPIs, and collaborating with the team creatively to build the brand.
Qualifications
- Expertise in business development, sales strategies, and client acquisition within the events industry.
- Strong skills in relationship management and collaboration with clients and team members.
- An existing strong reputation with the events industry.
- Proficiency in developing proposals, negotiations, and closing sales effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
