Exciting Opportunity: We are hiring! Part time Sales Assistant. Come and join our friendly team at Havards, the UK’s first community owned hardware shop. We are looking for a reliable person to help keep the shop running smoothly and support our amazing community.

About the role:

  • 20 hrs per week (including some Saturdays)
  • Pay – based on experience
  • Location: in the heart of Newport, Pembrokeshire

What you will be doing:

  • Serve customers with sales and stock
  • Restock items and keep the shop tidy
  • Check deliveries and update paperwork
  • Support our volunteers and shop managers

You are:

  • Organised with basic IT/till skills (training provided)
  • Flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and community minded
  • Interested in retail or DIY (experience helpful but not essential)
  • Willing to learn
  • Ability to speak Welsh would be a bonus
