Exciting Opportunity: We are hiring! Part time Sales Assistant. Come and join our friendly team at Havards, the UK’s first community owned hardware shop. We are looking for a reliable person to help keep the shop running smoothly and support our amazing community.
About the role:
- 20 hrs per week (including some Saturdays)
- Pay – based on experience
- Location: in the heart of Newport, Pembrokeshire
What you will be doing:
- Serve customers with sales and stock
- Restock items and keep the shop tidy
- Check deliveries and update paperwork
- Support our volunteers and shop managers
You are:
- Organised with basic IT/till skills (training provided)
- Flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and community minded
- Interested in retail or DIY (experience helpful but not essential)
- Willing to learn
- Ability to speak Welsh would be a bonus
