SINTEC UK is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Team Leader to oversee installation, maintenance, and commissioning of automation and conveyor systems on a construction site project in the UK. The role combines hands‑on technical work with team supervision, ensuring high‑quality and timely execution of electrical and mechanical installations in compliance with safety and client standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and participate in the installation and assembly of systems, including cable management infrastructure, panels, conveyor components, and auxiliary systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, functional testing, and commissioning to verify system integrity and performance.
  • Ensure all works are executed in strict compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and applicable safety and quality regulations.
  • Participate in project initiation meetings and thoroughly review all relevant technical documentation prior to commencement.
  • Liaise with the Line Manager to coordinate technical modifications and resolve project‑related challenges.
  • Manage materials efficiently by monitoring usage, maintaining inventory control, and reporting shortages promptly.

Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing electrical installation works, particularly in automation technologies such as conveyor systems and ASRS.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and project documentation.
  • Mandatory - SSSTS or SMSTS, and ECS, SPA or VCA certification.
  • Technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • UK work permit - mandatory.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.
