Have you ever considered a move to Portugal? For this position, we would need somebody from the UK or EU for visa purposes. I'm currently representing a growing hospitality design studio looking to add a Senior Interior Designer to their team. This is an opportunity to work on luxury resorts and high-end hospitality projects while relocating to one of Portugal's most desirable cities.

Understanding that relocating internationally is a big decision, the studio is open to candidates working remotely for the first six months. This allows you to get to know the team, projects and company culture before making the move. The studio is made up of around 10 people and is looking for a hands-on Senior Designer who enjoys being involved in the detail of projects rather than sitting purely in a management role. They need somebody who can take ownership, lead projects, guide junior team members and confidently deliver schemes from concept through to completion.

Why consider this opportunity?

  • Work on luxury resort and hospitality projects across international markets
  • Relocation opportunity to a beautiful city in Portugal
  • Option to work remotely for the first six months before relocating
  • Small, collaborative team where your contribution will have a genuine impact
  • Opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a key role in the studio's growth
  • Strong level of autonomy and responsibility

We are looking for somebody with:

  • Proven hospitality interior design experience
  • Experience delivering luxury hotel, resort or high-end hospitality projects
  • Strong concept design and project delivery skills
  • The ability to lead projects independently
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to be involved throughout the design process

This could suit a Senior Interior Designer who is looking to take their career to the next level with an international studio while enjoying a lifestyle change in Portugal.
