Our client, a leader in innovative radar solutions, is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities for the role of Radar Systems Engineer will include: You\’ll play a pivotal role in the development of their next-generation radar systems. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate, analyze, and model radar signal processing algorithms to identify the optimal solutions for new radar designs. You will work closely with the engineering team, providing guidance on system implementation requirements, and take a hands-on approach to prototyping and validating algorithms before they are implemented. The role offers future progression to become Radar Design Authority where you\’ll have full technical ownership. As the selected Radar Systems Engineer, your background should include: • Mathematics, engineering or physics degree • Strong mathematical and signal processing skills • Industry experience in radar system design or satellite communication systems • Use of Matlab, Mathcad or similar Desirable Skills • Understanding of the radar equation and its influence on radar architecture • Knowledge of multi-function radar design and/or phased-array antenna design • Familiarity with microwave waveguide structures and electromagnetic (EM) simulation • Familiarity with RF Pro or Keysight SystemVue • Experience of patent preparation • Active involvement in the radar industry (seminars, generating papers etc) This is an excellent opportunity for a Radar Systems Engineer to work on innovative projects at the forefront of radar technology.
