You are dedicated to a career in laboratory management and operations. You can manage day-to-day lab operations, procurement & supplies, waste, maintenance of state of the art equipment, and enforce health & safety.
We are working with a small Oxford based ‘dark genome’ biotech who are looking to hire a Laboratory Manager. Their research combines AI, cutting edge genomics, and world class drug discovery research to shine a light on and drug new targets within the ‘dark genome’. You, and a Lab Assistant who will report into you, will work very closely with the scientists undertaking this revolutionary research. Your work will be vital to their success.
You will work within brand new laboratory facilities, in a role that will grow with the biotech. Working within a small biotech comes with exciting challenges: you will need to be organised, proactive, and a calming presence in high pressure situations.
