You have significant experience leading operations within mid-to-large sized life science companies, and have implemented continuous improvement, strategic leadership, supplier management/negotiations, and have developed high-performing teams.

We are working with a Guildford-based biotech specialising in developing the next generation of cancer diagnostics. Their FDA-approved technology can diagnose metastatic cancer from a single blood sample by targeting circulating tumour cells and cell-free DNA.

They are looking to hire a Director of Operations to lead the biotech’s daily operations, including:

  • Compliance with industry standards (ISO 13485)
  • Supply planning
  • Sales & operations planning
  • Contract management
  • Process optimisation
  • Resource/budget planning
  • Risk management
  • Manufacturing

This is an extremely high impact and visible role reporting into the COO. Your work will ensure the biotech continues their sustainable growth as it strives to be a leader in liquid biopsy cancer diagnostics. You will take over a pre-built, high performing team and have the scope to take the biotech’s operations up to the next level.
