Director – Clinical Development // Develop the next Ophthalmology blockbuster // Remote
You are an experienced professional in clinical development with strong expertise in back‑of‑the‑eye diseases.
Why have you dedicated your career to the clinic? To develop new drugs meeting real unmet needs for patients?
We are working with an Italian pharma that specialises in developing drugs for rare and complex diseases within ophthalmology, CNS, and immunology. This private company has significant resources, a long‑term view, a dynamic, fast‑paced mindset, and a real track record of success. They are looking for a Director of Clinical Development to drive an ophthalmology growth‑factor with best‑in‑class potential (and recently awarded an FDA voucher after incredible pre‑clinical data for a rare disease) from Phase I through Phase IV.
You will lead significant projects in a very important program (which you will co‑lead), provide strategic input, and have significant influence over the direction of ophthalmology clinical development. You will join a world‑class team that has already taken ophthalmology drugs to market and have a real impact on the team’s ability to become even more successful.
