You will play a key role in managing multidisciplinary teams, maintaining excellent client relationships and supporting the continued growth of SCP. SCP Transport & Infrastructure is a leading independent consultancy, delivering intelligent, sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions across the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and manage projects through all stages of the project lifecycle
- Define, agree and manage project programmes, milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate design teams, manage package handovers and approvals
- Proactively manage project risks, scope changes and delivery challenges
- Maintain project risk registers and implement mitigation strategies
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong, proactive client relationships
- Communicate progress, risks and expectations clearly and effectively
- Prepare and present progress reports, proposals and project documentation
- Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage project budgets, financial performance and forecasting
- Prepare fee proposals and contribute to larger bids and tenders
- Oversee WIP, invoicing, debtor management and financial reporting
- Manage appointments, sub-consultants and purchase orders
- Support contractual matters and liaise with legal teams where required
- Programme, Planning & Resource Management
- Develop detailed project plans and communication strategies
- Estimate resource requirements and manage team capacity
- Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project objectives
- Lead weekly workload planning and prioritisation

- Proven experience delivering transport or infrastructure projects within a consultancy environment
- Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and fee proposals
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with clients and multidisciplinary teams
