Overview
In this role you will drive new-logo enterprise sales for SingleStore by targeting organizations building AI applications that demand real-time data access and scalable workloads. You will own a broad territory, generate a self-sourced pipeline, and craft customer-specific value propositions to land the first production workloads. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to demonstrate ROI, navigate multi-stakeholder buying centers, and shape the market for an emerging AI data-platform category.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a territory strategy for net-new customer acquisition
- Prospect broadly using outbound, ABM, partner programs, and market education to create demand
- Form hypotheses, map the buying center, and secure initial meetings with tailored points of view
- Engage executive, business, technical, security, and procurement stakeholders
- Lead discovery, connect AI/data challenges to fundable goals, and build ROI/TCO/operational-impact cases
- Develop champions, multi-thread the buying group, and maintain stakeholder alignment with plans and forecast
- Navigate complex sales cycles including technical validation, security, legal, procurement, negotiation, and close
- Partner with Solutions and Forward Deployment Engineers to validate fit and establish first production workloads
- Maintain CRM hygiene, lead pipeline management, and report on metrics such as pipeline, meetings, and new-logo performance
- Demonstrate AI fluency in tool usage, validate outputs, and apply sound judgment
- Travel within the assigned territory as required
Key requirements
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B enterprise software sales experience
- Consistent track record of new-logo wins and self-sourced pipeline
- Experience closing multi-stakeholder deals with executives, technical evaluators, security, legal, finance, procurement, and partners
- Ability to sell measurable business outcomes and build ROI/TCO/operational-impact cases
- Technical fluency in adjacent domains such as databases, data infrastructure, analytics, AI/ML, cloud, Kubernetes, cybersecurity, or open-source software
- Strong qualification, account planning, forecasting, CRM, negotiation, and deal-management skills
- Learning velocity and coachability with ability to explain technical concepts to technical and executive audiences
- Executive presence, customer trust, resilience, and excellent communication skills
- B.A., B.S. degree or equivalent in a related field
- Experience with Fortune 500 or security-sensitive organizations, cloud ecosystems, open-source or consumption-based products preferred
