Singleron Biotechnologies is an innovative life sciences tools company dedicated to applying groundbreaking single cell analysis techniques to research, clinical diagnosis, drug development, and health management. The company was incorporated in 2018 and currently has offices and laboratories in Germany, US, Singapore, and China.
With the rapidly expanding business, we are looking for a Sales Account Manager to drive and grow sales within the clinical and basic research field (Universities, Hospitals, Clinical Research Organizations, Pharma, Biotech and similar) in the UK. Ideally the candidate should be based in Cambridge.
The key responsibilities include:
- Meet and exceed sales target by actively driving the sales of the company’s single cell products and services
- Actively use a territory plan to help meet and exceed business targets
- Identify new business opportunities by prospecting and building networks
- Effectively identify and interpret customer’s needs, provide scientific and technical consultation to customers on Singleron’s SCOPE single cell technologies to win business
- Maintain and support the full customer journey of our products and services
- Negotiate and close deals and support all procurement processes
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with key opinion leaders in the field
- Work closely with other departments in the company in a customer-centric approach to ensure successful delivery of service results
- Accurate sales forecast
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience with a sales or other customer-facing role in the industry is preferred
- Strong molecular biology or medical background – Master degree minimum, PhD preferred
- Extensive knowledge in relevant areas, such as single cell sequencing, oncology, immunology, genomics, next generation sequencing
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and constructively in teams
- Passionate to offer professional help and consultation to customers, effective communication to customers and internal stakeholders
- Based in assigned territory; willingness to travel up to 60%
