The Site Manager will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities for our clients' projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of glazing systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in façade and glazing systems, and excellent communication to maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and the internal project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee installation of curtain walling, windows, doors, and structural glazing systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain installation standards.
- Manage and monitor project schedules, labour resources, and material deliveries.
- Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, and Head Office to report progress and resolve issues.
- Ensure accurate site documentation, including RAMS, permits, and daily records.
- Lead site meetings, toolbox talks, and HSE briefings.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and represent Advanced Glass professionally on-site.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor within the glazing, façade, or construction sector.
- Strong understanding of curtain walling, unitised façades, and aluminium systems.
- Excellent knowledge of construction health and safety regulations and best practices (SMSTS / SSSTS essential).
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and ensure efficient coordination of works.
- Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings and project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office, project reporting tools, etc.).

- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential
- CSCS Gold/Black Card – Essential
- First Aid at Work – Essential
- Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 6 (Construction Site Management) or equivalent – Desirable
- Façade / Glazing system training or certification – Advantageous
