Singh & Jones have partnered with a leading manufacturer of domestic heat pump systems for large projects across Europe. Due to an increased workload and ever-evolving sector, my client is keen to recruit an experienced Estimator or Bid Manager who has experience in HIU and energy centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pricing of HIUs and Energy Centres, including subcontracted mechanical labour
- Research costs for materials, transport, equipment and labour
- Obtain and assess quotes from suppliers and subcontractors within project deadlines
- Coordinate with the Romania factory to track lead-in times and cost structures
- Assess project risk levels and help define cost contingencies
- Prepare and submit quotations and tender documents
- Liaise with clients and consultants to understand project requirements and timelines
- Assist with bid submissions and documentation for new contract opportunities
- Monitor cost variations throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budget alignment
