Reports to: Senior Programme Manager

Member of: PMO (Programme Management Office)

Hours of Work: 08:00-17:00 Monday – Friday inclusive (with 45 minutes for lunch break at 13:00)

Here at Singer Vehicle Design, we strive to design, develop and build the ultimate expression of what a sports car can be. The PMO team leads the overall delivery of all vehicle programmes and are looking to strengthen the team with a new Project Manager. The PMO team is a small team based in Woodford Halse, UK and is responsible for the delivery of all programmes. The role involves being integrated with engineering development, operational and sourcing teams, mainly in the UK but also with our colleagues in Los Angeles, USA. The successful applicant would be expected to lead key aspects of the programmes ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to targets. Experience in automotive product development is highly desired to strengthen the team with experience. A technical background in engineering is preferable.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project delivery – ensure on time delivery for Key elements, Preproduction and Launch builds
  • Support the programme with on‑time delivery of Engineering releases (ETRS)
  • Responsible for maintaining PDLs in line with the Programme requirements.
  • Ensure BoM structure and content is aligned to product definition, robust and available to support programme requirements.
  • Lead and manage the escalation of issues through the Change control process.
  • Responsible for scheduling of key tasks and activities
  • Lead/support the delivery of systems and components to support any prototype build requirements.
  • Deliver robust and transparent programme metrics to demonstrate programme control and a clear understanding of any issues
  • Manage the Project HLT
  • Supports Senior PM in the Programme Steering Team (PST) to manage Programme delivery work streams and be delegate when not available
  • Lead small projects/programmes
