Job Summary: We are looking for a Process Manager to be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of bespoke trim assembly and mechanical sub-assembly parts, performing quality analysis, and determining efficient processes. This will include ensuring processes are robust, accurate, meet business demands and result in a flawless finish. You will be responsible for managing a team of Technicians and Developers, handling the planning and coordination of the department. Key Responsibilities of the Trim Process Manager:
- Deliver safe, high quality and efficient processes, to effectively meet the demands of general assembly and achieve world class fit and finish standards.
- Ensure that the Trim and mechanical sub-assembly chain is defined, planned with Standard Operating Procedures, and measured in line with industry best practice.
- Look after the safety within the area of responsibility.
- Responsible for the people environment within the team.
- Responsible for production planning of the function area and ensuring that systems, processes, and the team can deliver production plans.
- Responsible for delivering the customer specification, working to strict quality requirements, ensuring the department has the necessary manpower, competence, skills, knowledge, and tooling required to achieve trim targets.
- Provide clear leadership and motivate employees to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop their skills – monitor ongoing progress and performance.
- Implement KPIs that are accurate and reflective of the trim process being measured.
- Ensure that equipment, machinery, and tooling are used and maintained in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner for the benefit of the business.
- Collaborate with other departments to allow for smooth and efficient assembly.
- Leading build governance start-up meetings as required.
- First point of escalation for Health and Safety, parts, or people issues - elevate and address business risks without delay or hesitation.
- Continuously improve trim and assembly processes, using lean methodology, cascading the skills and the expectation to deliver to all key stakeholders.
Personal Specification:

- Are experienced working with high-end or luxury vehicles.
- Are experienced working with leather, cloth and carbon trim.
- Have a knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H and environmental procedures.
- Are from a classic vehicle or motorsport background.
- Can think strategically whilst ensuring day to day operation objectives are met.
- Hold a passion for coaching and motivating people.
- Are exceptionally organised with prominent levels of self-motivation.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours and practice.
- Can maintain the very highest levels of attention to detail even when under pressure.
