Job Summary
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support financial planning, budgeting, and operational reporting across the UK business. You will work closely with UK and US teams to deliver accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial insights, supporting programme objectives and key project milestones. The role involves producing financial analysis and models to support decision making, contributing to KPI reporting and management reviews, and partnering with stakeholders to improve financial understanding and performance. You will also support cash flow forecasting with the US FP&A team and contribute to month end processes, including journals and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Preparation of monthly and year-end accounts
- Balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Reporting financial results to US teams
- Costing, pricing reviews, and supplier liaison
- Supporting KPI reporting and business performance reviews

Requirements
- Finance experience and understanding of finance terminology
- Demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally from the automotive industry
- Excellent proficiency in all MS packages including advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & other finance data management and modelling tools
- Full UK driving licence
Experience Required
- Ability to work independently and use initiative, with strong interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including at least intermediate Excel and Word skills
- Experience using accounting systems such as Sage or QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel skills are advantageous
- Experience working in a small finance team environment
- Experience liaising with customers, suppliers, and employees
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally within the automotive sector
