This role supports social media content across the Community Impact (CI) division, which consists of community engagement programmes, the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO), and the Singapore Symphony Choruses. The role also supports company-wide campaigns as needed. Working closely with these teams and reporting to the Manager, Social Media, you will create engaging social content aligned with the Singapore Symphony Group’s brand. You should be comfortable with video production and editing, stay current with social media trends, and enjoy collaborating with others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Scheduling: Create, edit and publish short-form content for Instagram and Facebook, including reels, captions, and relevant behind-the-scenes Stories for the CI division and assigned campaigns. Maintain social media content calendars with weekly content uploads, focused on but not limited to concert promotion, member spotlights, and post-event photo highlights. Support social media team for assigned campaigns, including key opinion leader (KOL) campaigns and coordinating vendors on video content or brand video projects where needed. Manage photography and videography vendors for CI concerts, programmes, and photoshoots. Organise digital assets such as photos and videos, and ensure proper permissions and credits of photographer/videographer on socials.
  • Community Management: Monitor CI social media channels, and respond to comments and messages while managing the brand’s online reputation. Support crisis communication on socials when required. Provide ad-hoc creative support for major marketing campaigns and company-wide initiatives.
  • Marketing & Communications Support: Support digital marketing efforts for the SNYO, including campaign coordination, paid media, and related marketing initiatives. Execute email marketing campaigns for schools bi-annually, including copywriting, formatting, and dissemination through the customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Support the coordination and production of programme booklets for SNYO and Choral events.
  • Strategy & Analytics: Support the execution of social media strategies through KPI tracking, performance monitoring, and analysis of key metrics (e.g. impressions, engagement, followers). Identify and share relevant social media and industry trends, especially in the arts administration industry.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with video and image editing tools (e.g. Capcut Pro, Canva).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality work.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
