About this role: The Sports Executive shall oversee the assigned sports classes and sport sections. The Sports Section includes softball, Pickleball, Soccer, Swimming, Bowling, Tennis, Towel Counter, Billiard, Gym, Cricket, Rugby, Padang Field and Ayer Rajah. He / She assists in organizing sports and recreation events/activities for members, adults and children. The executive is to provide quality service to club members and guests.
Job Responsibilities:
- To assist Manager in overseeing Sports classes and sections.
- To assist in enquiry and administration for Sports Academies & Sporting matters; liaise with National Associations and external parties to organize events.
- To assist with enquiries and administrative tasks related to Corporate Teambuilding Packages.
- To facilitate, manage and assist his/her respective Sport Sections.
- To assist in facilities bookings (Members and Corporate). This includes Tennis courts, Multi-Purpose Court, Soccer Field and any other new facilities; manage schedules, including coordinating practices, games and other events.
- To administer all sports related billings, payment and purchase requisition; assist with budgeting, project execution, and sales operations if required.
- To record accurately on admin related matters such as Minutes of Meeting for Games Control Board (GCB) related meetings.
- Prepare meeting materials in relation to Sports Department Matters.
- Assist in Sports operations and ensure smooth daily operations of the sport facilities; work closely with all stakeholders, coaches and all clients of the Club.
- Assist in organizing and planning of recreation and sports events, regular and ad-hoc events.
- To support sports membership and Insurance section in enrolment and termination.
- Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace. Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you. Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
- Any other duties/projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sports operations, gym operations, or sports management with relevant certifications in fitness training such as NASM, ACE, FIC/FISAF, NCSF, FEA or equivalent. Candidate with NREP certification will have an added advantage.
- Possess a valid First Aid, CPR & AED certification.
- Good interpersonal skills to connect with the members from diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
- Willingness to work on rostered shift hours, weekends, and public holidays, as needed for Club operations.
