Job Purpose: Managing the assigned sports and recreation classes and sections. Sports and Recreation classes include Yoga, Swimming, Pilates, Tai Chi, Aqua Zumba and any other new classes. Sports Section includes Softball, Pickleball, Soccer, Bowling, Tennis, Towel Counter, Billiard, Gym, Cricket and Padang Field. Assists in organizing sports and recreation events/activities for members, adults and children. Provides quality service to club members and guests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Sports Manager in managing Sports and Recreation classes and sections.
- Assist in enquiry and administration for corporate packages.
- Assist in facility bookings (Members and Corporate), including Tennis courts, Pickleball Courts, Multi-Purpose Court, Soccer Field and any other new facilities.
- Administer all recreation and sports related billings, payment and purchase requisition.
- Accurately record administrative matters such as Minutes of Meeting for Games Control Board (GCB) related meetings and prepare meeting materials.
- Assist in Sports and Recreation operations and ensure smooth daily operations of the recreational facilities.
- Assist in organizing and planning of recreation and sports events, regular and ad-hoc events.
- Support membership and Insurance section in enrolment and termination.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.
Safety and Health Responsibilities:
- Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
- Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
- Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working.
- You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sports operations, gym operations, or sports management with relevant certifications in fitness training such as NASM, ACE, FIC/FISAF, NCSF, FEA or equivalent.
- Candidate with NREP certification will have an added advantage.
- Possess a valid First Aid, CPR.
