Responsible for protecting assigned premises, assets and personnel and expected to detect and deter potential threats. Provide concierge security services, detect security threats and manage incidents. He/She handles medical incidents and compiles incident reports. The Senior Security Officer may need to liaise with and provide information requested by other departments. The Senior Security Officer manages the security team, monitors their performance, and provides coaching and advice.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist authorities in law enforcement
  • Attend to enquiries from members/guests related to the building or surrounding areas
  • Regulate traffic and crowd around assigned premises
  • Operate security alarm system and the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system
  • Manage the key press
  • Perform security surveillance at the command centre/Guardhouse
  • Provide secondary support to incident and emergency responses
  • Feedback to supervisor regarding the performance and conduct of outsourced security agency

  • Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
  • Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
  • Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working.
  • You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Management.

Requirements

  • Minimum ‘O’ level / Professional Certificate or equivalent certification with at least 3-4 years of security experience
  • Holds a valid Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD) Licence.
  • Good team player and with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to provide training for the security officers on the ground.
  • Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
  • Upholds a professional image when interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Willingness to work on rotating rostered shift including weekends/PH. 6 days work week.
