The Senior IT Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations to support business objectives. This role oversees IT systems, cybersecurity, digital transformation initiatives, vendor management, and IT project implementation while ensuring reliable and secure technology services across the organization. The Senior IT Manager will also manage the IT team, IT budget, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- IT Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy, infrastructure roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Communicate departmental goals, direction, and accountability among team members.
- Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance management practices.
- Collaborate with senior management and department heads to analyze business requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
- Attend IT Sub-Committee meetings and assist the Chairman in preparing and documenting meeting minutes.
- IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including network systems (LAN, Wireless, VOIP), servers, Active Directory, and Terminal Servers, firewall, security appliances, and network monitoring systems, email systems, website management, and cloud-based platforms, and business management systems such as Club2000e and related modules.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle planning for hardware and software.
- Manage subscriptions and permits related to sports and entertainment telecasts in club venues.
- IT Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, security monitoring, and audit checks.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure data protection and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations, IT governance standards, and organizational policies.
- Project Management & Technology Implementation
- Lead and manage large-scale IT projects including system upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and technology deployments, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies such as ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate project activities with internal departments and external vendors to ensure successful project implementation.
- Develop and execute testing strategies for new hardware and software deployments.
- Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage vendor relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), and software licensing compliance.
- Review and renew IT contracts, software licenses, and maintenance agreements.
- Prepare and manage the IT department budget, including capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx).
- Monitor department workload, procurement processes, and authorize IT purchase requisitions.
- Prepare and submit monthly IT reports to the Management Committee.
- Training & Support
- Provide IT training and guidance to staff to ensure effective use of IT systems.
- Support employees and departments in resolving IT-related issues and improving technology adoption.
- Others
- Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
- Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
- Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 3-5 years of relevant experience in an IT managerial role.
- Experience in hospitality, club, or service industry environments will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Meticulous and strong attention to details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
