Job Purpose
Responsible for maintenance of IT infrastructure. Coordinate and implement new systems to expand existing infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-day troubleshooting of PCs, servers and network.
- Liaise with external vendors for servicing and support of IT infrastructure.
- Provide daily support to user and operation system platform.
- Documentation of all the IT assets, user information, phone lines, data lines and software licenses and maintenance.
- Coordinating and implementing of new equipment/systems.
- Maintenance of IT infrastructure including patching, updating, AV scanning, and backups.
- Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
- Maintenance of IT infrastructure including: Network – LAN, Wireless, VOIP etc.; Hardware – Club2000e and various modules, Active Directory, Terminal Server, WSUS, Firewall, VOIP, Mail, Web etc.; Software – Operating Systems, Software Products, Software Licenses.
- Provide advice to internal departments on new and existing IT-related equipment.
- Record and write minutes of meetings for IT sub-committee.
- Provide related IT training to staff.
- Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
- Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
- Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
- Any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma Graduates with no working experience are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to listen and active problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify issues, recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems and manage issues effectively.
