The module will introduce the fundamental principles and emerging areas in communication networks, covering the underlying technologies and protocols, implementation, and issues of network security, dependability, and performance.
- Period of teaching: 15 hours across one - two months.
- To understand the content of the module well, communicate with the module leader to understand the expectations on the module, work closely with University Partner Programme Director and module lead on the content for tutorial delivery.
- To provide feedback to the module leader and SIM on challenges in delivery, student management issues etc.
- To attend SIM and University Partner lecturers' meetings.
- The candidate will need to meet with the Programme Team and University Partner faculty before, during and after the module to discuss the module delivery and student feedback. Additional meetings may be arranged as necessary.
Job Requirement
- A Ph.D or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university.
- 5 years of relevant work experience in the domain area.
- At least 2 years of relevant online teaching experience at the tertiary level.
- Familiar with learning management systems and online learning tools.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working or teaching in a multicultural or diverse environment is highly preferred.
