About SHRI Academy
SHRI Academy is the capability development and professional learning arm of the Singapore Human Resources Institute. We design and deliver programmes across HR, leadership, organisational capability, and AI-enabled workforce transformation. Our engagements span public programmes, corporate learning, strategic partnerships, and national-level workforce initiatives. Our work brings us into regular contact with corporate, institutional, and government stakeholders, and we operate in a commercially driven environment where programme quality, market relevance, responsiveness, and execution discipline matter equally.
The Role
We are looking for an Executive or Senior Executive to help drive the commercial growth and market visibility of the Academy. This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who is both creative and execution-oriented — comfortable engaging stakeholders, translating ideas into polished materials, and moving projects from concept to delivery. You will sit within the Academy’s commercial pillar, supporting corporate engagement, programme marketing, proposals, presentations, and commercial coordination across multiple initiatives. The role works closely with programme, partnerships, and marketing teams, particularly supporting Academy growth while complementing SHRI’s broader membership-focused marketing efforts. Success in the role is measured by the quality of execution, responsiveness, strength of stakeholder relationships, and meaningful contribution to commercial growth.
What You Will Do
You will support the commercial cycle of the Academy: from outreach and lead follow-up through to proposals, presentations, programme campaigns, and partnership coordination. Day-to-day, this means helping convert conversations into structured opportunities, supporting the development of decks and commercial materials, coordinating programme visibility efforts, and maintaining disciplined follow-through across multiple moving initiatives. A significant part of the role involves developing proposals and professional-quality presentations, marketing collateral, and visual content. You should be comfortable translating discussions and concepts into outputs that are clear, commercially relevant, visually polished, and audience-appropriate. Because we operate as a lean team, the role also requires strong coordination and execution discipline. You will work across programme, partnerships, and marketing functions simultaneously, helping ensure timelines, communications, and deliverables move forward cleanly and reliably.
What We Are Looking For
We hire for demonstrated capability rather than specific credentials or years of experience. Strong candidates typically bring:
- Commercial sensibility: a good read on stakeholders, conversations, and what moves opportunities forward
- Execution discipline: the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through consistently, and deliver without excessive supervision
- Strong communication and design craft: the ability to produce written and visual materials that are clear, structured, and professionally polished
- Good judgement: the maturity to prioritize well, elevate appropriately, and operate with autonomy
- Comfort with modern working tools: Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva, or equivalent design platforms. Demonstrated comfort integrating AI tools into workflows for research, content development, presentation design, marketing support, and productivity
Exposure to training, consulting, professional services, membership organisations, programme marketing, or capability-development environments is useful but not required. We value learning agility, adaptability, professionalism, and quality of output over linear career backgrounds.
Why Join Us
- Work on industry-facing and national-level capability development initiatives
- Engage directly with corporate, institutional, and government stakeholders
- Build broad commercial, marketing, and stakeholder engagement experience
- Work closely with senior practitioners across the Academy and wider SHRI ecosystem
- Be part of a team that values clarity, rigour, responsiveness, and meaningful impact
