The HR Executive supports the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The role involves managing HR administration, recruitment and onboarding, payroll and benefits support, employee relations, training coordination, and assisting in HR initiatives that enhance workforce efficiency and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR administration including maintenance of employee records, documentation, and HR systems updates
- Assist in recruitment activities such as job posting, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees
- Support payroll preparation by ensuring accurate submission of attendance, leave, and claims data
- Administer employee benefits, leave management, and HR-related queries
- Assist in employee relations matters and ensure proper documentation and follow-up
- Coordinate training and development programmes, including scheduling and record tracking
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures
- Prepare HR reports and support audits when required
- Assist in HR projects and any other duties assigned by HR management
Required Competencies
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1β3 years of HR experience (preferred in hospitality/F&B industry)
- Good knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR practices
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR systems
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Competencies
- Experience in F&B, hospitality, or service industry environment
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g. Timesoft or similar HRIS)
- Exposure to Work Pass administration (S Pass, Work Permit processes)
- Experience in training coordination or employee engagement activities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive work attitude
