Social Media & Content Creation
- Create engaging social media content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and other digital platforms.
- Design visual assets including graphics, infographics, carousels, GIFs, reels, short-form videos, stories and digital banners.
- Support content planning and brainstorming for social media calendars and campaigns.
- Assist in writing captions and adapting content for different platforms.
- Monitor social media engagement, trends and competitor activities.
Graphic Design & Visual Communications
- Design marketing and promotional materials such as posters, flyers, brochures, EDM banners, event signage, presentation slides, invitations, pull-up banners and digital collaterals.
- Assist in developing visual content for campaigns, fundraising initiatives, advocacy programmes and events.
- Support website visual content updates and asset preparation.
- Ensure consistency of SCWO’s branding and visual identity across all materials.
Events & Campaign Support
- Support communications and creative execution for workshops, conferences, fundraising events, awareness campaigns, member engagement activities and community programmes.
- Assist with event photography, videography and live social media coverage where required.
- Support production of event materials, backdrops, props and digital displays.
Team & Administrative Support
- Work closely with the Communications team on creative and marketing projects.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies or printers where required.
- Provide ad hoc support for departmental campaigns, partnerships and communications initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Journalism or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in social media, content creation and visual storytelling.
- Proficient in Canva; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro or similar tools) is an advantage.
- Animation or motion graphics skills are a bonus.
- Comfortable creating short-form videos and social media reels.
- Possesses a good creative eye, strong visual sense and attention to detail.
- Familiar with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok content trends and formats.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about women’s issues, social impact, community engagement or the non-profit sector is a plus.
