As our full-time YouTube Channel Manager, you will help envision and execute a strategy that maintains our position as the number 1 karaoke destination on YouTube, delivering the best content to singers across the world.
This role would suit an experienced YouTube Channel Manager with the smarts and savvy to seamlessly blend data analytics, trends and intuition to drive channel growth and content performance. Working cross-functionally with Growth, Content Production and Community, you’ll be part of a high-growth team, working with key partners and owning content research and planning to maximise the impact and potential of the Sing King YouTube channel.
As YouTube’s Channel Manager you will have:
- YouTube Expertise: You’ll have a minimum of 2 years experience owning and operating a successful YouTube Channel before, and therefore be extremely comfortable with YouTube Studio and analytics platforms such as Tubular Labs as well as being dialled into the YouTube ecosystem at large, understanding the need to be proactively up to date with features, trends and formats.
- Fluency with Data: You’re well versed with YouTube Studio, Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualisation tools such as Looker and Tableau. You’re also able to dive a bit deeper under the surface, utilising basic SQL and querying platform data from multiple sources. Basic image, copywriting and video editing skills - You’re competent with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop for video titles, thumbnails, descriptions, metadata, and community posts.
- Project Management and Communication: You’re as comfortable managing multiple projects and work streams as you are managing stakeholder expectations, even when things aren’t going to plan.
- Passion: You have love for karaoke, music, and/or the broader digital entertainment ecosystem.
