- Weekly teaching, full school day - 8.45am-3.30/4.30pm, term time
- Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s
- Teaching from 1 to 5 days per week
- Singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons - Nursery to Year 6 following Sing Education teaching resources
- Choirs, lunchtime and after school clubs
Requirements
- Qualifications: University graduate with a degree in music or a related field
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Capability to conduct whole-class music lessons
- Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use
- Understanding of the National Curriculum for music
- Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite
- Experience:
- Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction
- Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role
- Personal Attributes:
- Passionate about inspiring a love for music in pupils
- Strong classroom management and disciplinary skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both Sing Education and school teams
- Maintains appropriate confidentiality
- Possesses a sense of humour and can generate enthusiasm for music

Compensation
Full-time Salary PA: £24,867 - £32,542 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale. Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting. Initial pay is dependent on classroom music experience and weekly hours + pension. 7 - 40 hours per week - 38 weeks per year + paid training.
