At Sing Education, we’re seeking a passionate musician with a degree in music or a related field who is eager to share the transformative power of music with the next generation.
Responsibilities
- Weekly teaching, full school day – 8.45am to 3.30/4.30pm, term time
- Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s
- Teach from 1 to 5 days per week
- Deliver singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons – Nursery to Year 6 using Sing Education resources
- Lead singing assemblies
- Support choirs, lunchtime and after-school clubs
Qualifications
- University graduate with a degree in music or a related field
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Ability to conduct whole-class music lessons
- Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use
- Understanding of the National Curriculum for music
- Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite
Experience
- Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction
- Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role
