The predicted salary is between 27 - 27 £ per hour.
Sing Education are looking for reliable, confident and inspirational small group and one‑to‑one teachers to teach Keyboard, Guitar and Singing (Grade6 level minimum) with a degree in music or a related field (e. g. musical theatre/music education).
Candidates should have a university graduate qualification, evidence of further professional development and a QTS knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Strong singing voice and confidence to use the singing voice to support pupil learning
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to lead small group (up to 5 people) and one‑to‑one lessons
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Basic keyboard skills if not first instrument
- Degree of ICT literacy and ability to use online systems such as GSuite and other communication platforms
- Knowledge or experience in Kodály and Dalcroze teaching practices
- Ability to accompany on piano/guitar for choir, assemblies and other performances
- Relevant classroom or one‑to‑one teaching experience
- Experience of working with children or young people in a teaching or leadership capacity
- Experience of leading music workshops
- Experience of working with children with SEND

- Ability to lead and inspire a passion for music in pupils
- Firm approach to discipline and good management skills
- Ability to work well as part of both Sing Education and in‑school teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate

- Working Conditions
- Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school
- Teaching can be 1‑5 days per week
- Teaching locations: primary schools in Greater London, Slough, Kent and North Yorkshire
- Must have (or be willing to apply for through us) an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Communicate professionally and clearly to represent Sing Education within a school setting
- Attend and engage with Sing Education team training and induction sessions
