This role involves:
- Acting as the first point of contact for project pre-construction enquiries (i.e. design) through all communication channels.
- Reviewing and maintaining accurate and current pre-construction programs of work for the projects supported.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and clients to support project delivery to completion on time.
- Data gathering through customers and site visits to ensure that the estimating and delivery team have the required pre-construction information.
- Setting up and maintaining Project Communication System supplied by the Client/EPC Contractor and other parties including internal distribution, archiving and storage of all incoming and outgoing correspondence/documentation.
- Maintaining management tools such as Status Report and any other form of monitoring report required by Project Owner.
- Partaking in relevant meetings to gain understanding of support required for each project.
- Supporting the creation of pre-energisation documentation.
- Providing routine updates and reports at an operational and commercial level to enhance client experience.
- Chasing invoices for ongoing works and liaising with Project Manager to ensure any payment terms are fulfilled.
- Assisting with various administrative functions in project development and design submission, payment stages, construction and operations.
- Carrying out reasonable tasks as requested by Project Managers and senior managers to support the successful delivery of projects.

You’ll have a proven track record of:
- Proficient use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Extensive Project Management experience, particularly within the electrical utility industry.
- Proven track record of effectively managing projects.
- Competence in MS Project or equivalent Project Management software.
- Ability to work with multiple teams at any one time to tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the Project life cycle, from ownership to completion.
- Ability to project profit and loss forecasting and delivery.
- Project reporting, particularly progress against target and budget.
- Strong understanding of Streetworks and permits.
- Confident in customer management.
- Ability to drive and deliver complex, multi-million-pound projects.
- Excellent organisation and coordination skills.
You’ll be a successful Major Projects Pre Construction Manager at Sinewave if you have:
- Project Management qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. Prince 2, APM, PMI).
- SMSTS.
- Full Driving Licence (Max 3 points).
- Emergency first aid at work qualification.
- Experience working for or with an ICP or DNO at EHV voltage levels (33-132kV).
- Experience working in the electrical industry with collaboration across multiple teams.
- Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, including the anti-bribery policy, while adhering to the Environmental and Quality Management System in alignment with ISO standards and the requirements of the NERS accreditation.
